Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

Life is either a daring adventure, or it is nothing. Helen Keller

So, with that in mind, we have made the decision to take an adventure! You may be able to take the boy out of TEXAS, but you'll never be able to take TEXAS out of the boy. I hope they don't find me too arrogant in Alaska and kick me out of the state. If they do, I'll guess I'll come home. I'll always be a proud Texan, but I've come to the conclusion that it is now time to get out of my comfort zone. After we get settled we hope that ya'll (gotta keep it Texan) will come to visit. I will always have that Texas hospitality and ya'll will be welcome anytime. Some have already made a commitment to visit (in the summer) (ha, ha) It was not an easy decision to come to. After much prayer and checking out tons of info about Fairbanks and Alaska, we feel that this is where God is calling us at this time. At a minimum we will be there two years, but you can bet at Fiesta time WE WILL BE IN SAN ANTONIO! Please keep us in your prayers. I love ya'll! Until we meet again. VIVA SAN ANTONIO!

WOW!!! I am so excited for ya'll! I can't wait to follow your blog and hear about all of your adventures. I will miss you dearly, though! And I will never forget the year you were my parents and took such loving care of me. I love you both and I know that God has amazing things in store for you.

I enjoyed meeting Ray at the Stephen Leader training. It will be fun to see what God has in store for you in Alaska. Somehow I feel like Ray won't have too much trouble meeting people. I pray that your move goes smoothly. Blessings!

We had a blast getting to know you Ray at the Stephen Minister LTC...I'm waiting on feinted breath for upcoming installments of life in Fairbanks and what amazing work you'll be doing at whatever church you decide to call home up there.

I thank God for the opportunity to get to know you.
